Karen Sessions now serves as 5 Bars Chief External Affairs Officer, focusing her expertise on public policy, corporate strategy, external affairs and strategic partnerships, business and stakeholder relationships, vertical markets and contract negotiations, IT/IS organizational Design, and continued innovation and capabilities within emerging markets and communities.

Ms. Sessions previously held the title of Vice President – Director Government Relations, Public Policy, Law and Security with Verizon Enterprise Solutions, where she worked in several critical leadership roles with Verizon and its predecessor MCI for over 26 years. Most recently at Verizon, she was responsible for both present and emerging communications public policy including telematics, Internet of Things (IoT), transportation, Machine to Machine (M2M), healthcare, energy, security and cybersecurity. This role included developing company positions and key messages across all Verizon domestic and global business units, corporate strategy and building emerging markets to identify and create opportunities to enhance the Verizon business strategy and grow results, developing stakeholder relationships including academics, think-tanks, engineering and standards experts for research, analysis and development of policy reports, corporate communications and talking points that support external corporate communications. In addition, she was elected City Commissioner and Vice Mayor of Winter Park Florida (2007-2010). Ms. Sessions is a Graduate of University of Notre Dame.

As 5 Bars new Chief Investment Officer, Eric Mann is responsible for business modeling, pricing, debt placement for capitalized networks, acquisitions and investment banking liaison. Mr. Mann has considerable financial management and business modeling experience working with several fast growing entrepreneurial companies focused in the telecommunications, managed services, fixed wireless, Internet, Wi-Fi, telephone, VoIP, and IT Services sectors, and has also worked with several large banking institutions. In this new role he will expand 5 Bars financing and capitalization capabilities for future projects. He will draw upon his experience and abilities to recognize early trends, opportunities and shifts in the financing sectors, in addition to help conceptualize and expand 5 Bars project funding capabilities and business lines. Mr. Mann graduated from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst and received his MBA from Pace University.

Michael Micheletti now serves as 5 Bars Director of Technical Services. Micheletti is an expert in stadium wireless network deployment and managed network services, and in this new role, he is responsible for designing, building and managing Wi-Fi networks for wireless Carrier Wi-Fi network offload. He has extensive and progressive experience in building, managing and maintaining data networks and system development projects.

In his previous role as technical project manager for Cisco Systems, he provided pre-sales and technical project management to stadium owners, (including the New York Mets and Dallas Cowboys), cable companies and internet service providers (ISP’s), deploying high availability networks including the installation of core network components, Wi-Fi component systems and monitoring components in sports arenas, stadiums, train stations and outdoors in many dense metropolitan areas. Mr. Micheletti is a graduate of New England Institute of Technology, Sullivan and Cogliano, and Thomson Universities.
