BOSTON, Mass. /Massachusetts Newswire/ — Gerald Pomeroy Design Group, one of the Boston area’s premier interior design firms specializing in creating residential spaces reflecting client’s individual style and personality is pleased to announce that company president Gerald Pomeroy is featured in the September 2008 issue of Traditional Home Magazine. The nine page spread details Gerald’s restoration efforts on his South End Victorian Brownstone. In this annual “Before and After” edition, Traditional Home’s story entitled “Renovation magic revives a Boston architectural jewel – visions of grandeur,” chronicles the total rehab effort of the formerly neglected space into an elegant home full of exquisite details.
“It was a challenge to work on this initially overlooked property but I’m proud of the result and enjoy being a part of the South End renaissance,” states Mr. Pomeroy. “The fact that Traditional Home did a feature on it is very exciting.”
Gerald Pomeroy projects have been showcased on HGTV, NECN’s New England Dream House, and in a number of national, regional and local publications, including The Boston Globe Sunday Magazine, New England Home Magazine, Design New England, Renovation Style, Better Homes & Gardens, Boston Common, and Brunschwig & Fils Up Close, among others. He received the 2007 PRISM award for his design of the Van Millwork Showroom in Needham and most recently, a project of Gerald Pomeroy Design Group graced the cover of the 2007 November/December issue of Design New England.
Additionally, another one of his projects will be featured in the December 2008 holiday issue of Traditional Home. This summer he was selected as one of the distinguished designers to be featured in the Boston Design Center’s Dream Home 2008. Mr. Pomeroy designed the “dining room.”
