ALAMEDA, Calif. (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — The Nea Community Learning Center earned an API score of 839 following its first year in operation, making it among the top achieving schools in the Alameda Unified School District. Nea, which opened its doors in 2009 to offer innovative, community-based learning in a diverse environment, serves 346 learners in grades K-10.
“We’re very pleased with the outcome of our first STAR tests,” says Paul Bentz, Executive Director of Community Learning Center Schools, which operates Nea and its sister school, the top-ranked Alameda Community Learning Center.
