DAYTON, Ohio, June 12, 2013 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — The area’s leading industrial flooring professionals, Summit Industrial Flooring, have named Jim Ziegler as their new Regional Sales Professional, Industrial Coatings Specialist and Multi-Accredited Trainer.
“Jim brings almost three decades of industry experience,” said Kim Powell, CEO of Summit Industrial Flooring. “His knowledge of the protective coatings and resinous flooring industry, together with a proven sales and marketing background, sets up well for Summit’s growth.”
Summit Industrial Flooring has recently opened a base of operations in Charleston, S.C., in addition to its Dayton headquarters. Summit specializes in commercial and industrial floor systems. Surface finishes include polished concrete, seamless epoxy floor coatings, safety striping, concrete restoration and floor maintenance. The company also consults and designs industrial flooring, secondary containment, and specialty flooring, including logos and artwork.
Ziegler is certified by the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) as a Concrete Coatings Inspector and Lead Instructor. He is also a NACE (The Corrosion Society) certified International Coatings Inspector, and is certified for moisture testing by the International Concrete Repair Institute.
Ziegler comes to Summit Industrial from Sherwin Williams, where he was Business Development Manager for Healthcare and Pharmaceutical markets. Prior to that he held positions with General Polymers and ArmorSeal.

In addition to SSPC, NACE and ICRI, Ziegler holds memberships in the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) and the International Society of Protective Engineering (ISPE). He is a certified instructor for SSPC and serves on that organization’s Instructor Committee.
