How to submit news to Massachusetts Newswire™

We are NOT a free news posting site or free wire service.

We accept news announcements of general interest from Massachusetts city, and state government offices; as well as Massachusetts-based 501(c) non-profit organizations which contribute to their communities. We also accept commercial news announcements for a fee as noted below.

State Government Agencies
If you are part of the press office for a state department, services office, etc., you may submit news announcements free of charge, provided they are sent from an official state government e-mail account, in MS Word format (not PDF). Ideally, we prefer to set-up an “intake” from your full-text RSS feed, if possible.

For ad agencies and PR firms hired by a state agency, you would need to pay a fee of $10 per unique announcement ($20 with photo) to publish news in our network.

State based NonProfit Orgs
For IRS-recognized non-profit organizations, you may submit news for $10 ($20 with photo). Or, if you are “doing good” and have a full-text RSS feed we can pull from, there is no charge (for RSS intake, we must find the news to be of broad appeal, and not a simple blog or promoting controversial agendas).

Commercial News (Events, Companies, etc.)
For Massachusetts based companies, or events, you may submit a news announcement for $20 ($30 with photo) for this site. Or $100 to run a single news announcement on multiple sites in our network (ie., CaliforniaNewswire.com, FloridaNewswire.com, MassachusettsNewswire.com, eNewsChannels.com, etc.).

Acceptable Content
All news must be actual news; not faux articles, advertorial, or slanderous/libelous in any way. We do NOT accept legal announcements, affiliate marketing, SEO/SEM companies, make money at home, mortgage refinance/loan modification, or similar so-called news. All news would be submitted in MS Word (or .rtf) format only, and should be comparable to A.P. (Associated Press) style or industry standards (ie., headline, dateline, body, media contact). We do not accept anonymous news, or fake news. All material is subject to editorial approval from our accredited staff.

Alternate News Submission for Commercial News
For commercial business news announcements, we have an exclusive partnership with Send2Press® Newswire (Send2Press.com). If you would like your news to appear on this site (and others in our network), you should consider using Send2Press as an additional component of your Massachusetts business promotion and PR program(s).
